Head of industrial swaps LSH for Colliers

John Sullivan, director of industrial agency at Lambert Smith Hampton in Manchester, is due to leave the company in September to take over as head of the Colliers team, replacing Julien Kenny-Levick.

Sullivan has worked at LSH for nine years, and advised public and private clients on various acquisition and disposal instructions, including the Homes & Communities Agency, Peel Holdings, BBC, Williams Group, and Hermes Parcelnet. Prior to LSH, John held positions at Knight Frank and Matthews & Goodman.

Kenny-Levick has been at Colliers for 12 years. There were no further details on his departure, and he was unavailable to comment at the time of publication.

Colliers International recently hired Laura Wilbourn to the Manchester team as a senior surveyor. Sullivan will work closely with Wilbourn and fellow director Chris Evans in Manchester, as well as Robert Whatmuff and Simon Hill from the Leeds office.

Sullivan said: “Having spent nine years at LSH, I’m ready for a new challenge and relish the opportunity to join a truly global organisation such as Colliers International.”

Len Rosso, head of Colliers’ industrial and logistics team, said: “John is a well-known and respected member of the Manchester property community and his experience in advising high profile occupiers and developers in the industrial field is second to none. We look forward to welcoming John to the team.

“Julien has been a stalwart member of the team since 2004 and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank him for his dedication and commitment to Colliers International during his impressive length of service. We wish Julien the very best in all his future endeavours.”

Matthew Scrimshaw, head of the North region at Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “John has worked for Lambert Smith Hampton for over nine years and has made a valuable contribution in this time. We wish him every success for the future. We are in discussion with a number of parties to continue to grow our industrial business across the North West but in the interim period, Robert Diggle, head of agency in the Liverpool office, will be acting head of the North West industrial team, which comprises Rob Donnelly, Leah Taylor and Adam Taylor.”
