HCA area manager to speak at Place Social Housing Forum

Diane Walton, head of the Homes & Communities Agency in Cheshire and Merseyside, will join the panel for the question time debate at Place's Social Housing Forum next week.

The event takes place at Lancashire County Cricket Club on 19 October, the day before the Comprehensive Spending Review when cuts in the public sector are to be spelled out by Chancellor George Osborne.

Also speaking at the event, sponsored by Vinci, KPMG and Hill Dickinson, will be Paul Beardmore, director of housing at Manchester City Council, Maggie Shannon, director of performance and innovation at Great Places Housing Group, Ged Lucas, corporate director for communities, regeneration and environment and deputy chief executive of Stockport Council.

The free-to-attend Place North West Social Housing Forum, will include roundtable breakout sessions on funding, planning and policy, building and maintenance, and corporate strategy.

The forum will conclude with a panel debate featuring Diane Walton of the HCA, Bill Enevoldson, partner and head of public sector at KPMG and John Holmes, partner and head of planning at Hill Dickinson.

The event will begin at 8:30am and conclude with lunch at 1pm.
