Craig Hatch, former regional lead for Cumbria at WYG, is to head the UK operations of the global engineering consultancy as it adopts the name of parent company Tetra Tech.
The role will involve oversight of all divisions, encompassing transport, highways, defence, housing, low carbon energy and water.
Hatchhad previously stepped up from his regional WYG role to become managing director of the GB region, and will now see his role expanded again as the firm’s UK president.
This will see him take on additional responsibility overseeing the organisation that operates across a number of sectors in regions such as Yorkshire, Cumbria and Northern Ireland.

Hatch brings more than 30 years’ experience in client management, business development, project execution, staff management, and business leadership to the role.
