GVA promotes Cheap
Bilfinger GVA has promoted North West office agent Chris Cheap to senior director, underpinning his role as head of the firm's five-strong North West offices team.
Based in the Manchester office, Cheap has 17 years' experience in the North West's office market. He was involved in the 73,000 sq ft letting to KPMG at Argent/GMPVF's One St Peter's Square and 100,000 sq ft of deals at Carlyle Group's Piccadilly Place in the past year.
He acts for clients including Muse, Orbit, Miller, Catalyst Capital, Standard Life, Nabarro LLP and Ardstone.
Cheap said: "Following our recent merger with Bilfinger Real Estate and the international platform it provides we now have the potential to really grow the business, an area in which I will take a vested interest as senior director. The past 12 months have been extremely busy in the commercial property sector and with the economic trajectory heading in the right direction, we anticipate this to continue with Bilfinger GVA's North West team playing a major role."
Mark Rawstron, regional senior director, Bilfinger GVA Manchester office, added: "Chris thoroughly deserves this recognition for leading his strong office agency team, which has completed some of the region's most significant office deals, and has established important, long-standing relationships."
Cheap heads a team across Liverpool and Manchester that includes Ian Steele, director, David Thwaites, associate, Jonathan Lowe, associate, and Rhys Evans, graduate surveyor.
Ah good luck Chris
I will never forget you turning up to the GVA hat party in a tinky winky hat xx
