GVA hires three new starters

GVA has bolstered its planning, development and regeneration team in Manchester with three appointments.

Justin Clough joins as an associate having previously worked for Mouchel and the Co-Operative Group.

He has advised local and central government on asset rationalisation and estates strategies, as well as providing acquisition, disposal, regeneration and strategic asset management advice to a range of clients across the UK.

Jane Lathwood, pictured left, joins as an associate from Miller Metcalfe Commercial where, as managing director, she was responsible for the restructure and revival of the commercial division.

She has over 16 years' experience in development consultancy, acting for a range of private and public sector clients.

The PDR team has also recently taken on a graduate planner, Helen Clarkson, who will support both the planning and regeneration aspects of the team and assist on a range of projects for public and private sector clients.

Iain Jenkinson, senior director, GVA, said: "In an era of Localism and devolved decision-making, our strength lies in our regional presence, knowing the cities and places in which we work and having an in-depth understanding of regional and local markets.

"These new appointments will further strengthen our standing as the consultancy of choice for strategic planning, development and regeneration advice."
