GVA Grimley wins Mencap ski challenge

North West property professionals teamed up at Manchester's Chill FactorE to raise £4,000 in a charity ski competition in aid of learning disability charity Mencap.

Sponsored by GVA Grimley and TSK, six teams of four battled it out in heats in a downhill slalom. The Grim Ones, led by GVA Grimley's Simon Reynolds, picked up gold, closely followed by TSK and Roland Dransfield PR 'Ladies', who came third.

Commenting about the event, Simon Reynolds said: "It proved to be a fantastic event and was all in aid of a very worthwhile cause. It was also a bonus to see Mr. Dunston face plant and the Sheddies lose out to our PR consultancy – we are all looking forward to the rematch in the New Year!"

Mencap works with people with a learning disability to change laws and services, challenge prejudice and directly support thousands of people to live their lives as they choose.
