GVA Grimley bolsters planning team

GVA Grimley has added to its 32-strong planning, development and regeneration team in Manchester with a series of new appointments and promotions.

Richard Laming has been promoted to director of regeneration after six years with the company and Ella Woods has been promoted to senior planner.

Andy Thompson, associate, has moved to Manchester from the London office. Thompson provides planning solutions for private and public sector clients as well as the further education sector.

New recruits include Andy Fuller who has joined as a senior planner from Knight Frank. Gavin Amos joins from Bolton council as a regeneration consultant. Chris Watts and Matthew Spilsbury join the team as graduate planners and Paul Aylmer joins as a graduate development surveyor.

The recent growth consolidates that position and provides additional capacity to respond to growing demand for our services in relation to Growth Points, EcoTowns and sustainable urban extensions."
