GVA appoints six to Manchester office

GVA has welcomed six new recruits to its Manchester office, with the appointment of Helen Mansley and Tara Bamford alongside the latest intake of four graduates.

Helen Mansley has joined the planning, development and regeneration team as a Planner. Previously a planning consultant at Peter Brett Associates, Mansley will work alongside Iain Jenkinson and Sam Stafford with a particular emphasis on retail, regeneration and employment projects.

Mansley brings with her extensive experience in undertaking retail need and impact assessments as well as town centre studies.

Tara Bamford joins the mobilisation team, which was launched in October last year and forms part of GVA's wider property management consultancy offering. Formerly quality and procedures manager at DTZ, Bamford will plan and monitor each mobilisation project across GVA's national property management consultancy discipline.

The Manchester office has also welcomed four new graduates to GVA. Adam Mason joins the valuations team, Claire Pegg joins the PDR team, James Couth joins the Land & Development team, and Jamal Parara joins building consultancy.

Mark Rawstron, regional senior director at GVA, said: "With the market showing promising signs of recovery, it is important that we bolster our teams accordingly with high quality talent, so that we are prepared as a consultancy to react effectively to opportunities for growth. We welcome all the new recruits and look forward to seeing them blossom in their respective roles under the guidance of their line managers and fellow experienced team members."
