GVA appointed on Lingley Mere

Surveyor GVA has been appointed as joint agent at Lingley Mere Business Park, the joint venture between United Utilities and Muse Developments.

The company will replace Lambert Smith Hampton and work alongside retained agents Edwards & Co to secure new tenants for the business park next to Junction 8 of the M62 in Warrington.

Lingley Mere contains 380,000 sq ft of office accommodation set in 100 acres of parkland. The park has outline planning consent for a further 400,000 sq ft of office space, a 132 bedroom hotel and 150,000 sq ft of distribution space.

Chris Cheap, director of GVA, said: "Lingley Mere is one of the North West's premier business parks, which has built up a strong track record for delivering first-class office product that's set against the backdrop of an outstanding working environment.

"It is an exciting time for Lingley Mere as the delivery message is so strong, which means we can react to demand swiftly and provide the right solution for a wide range of occupiers. We are extremely pleased to further extend our existing relationships with Muse and United Utilities at Lingley Mere."

There is consent for a fifth unit of 18,500 sq ft to complete the Clearwater phase, which already includes four units that have been let and sold.

Tenants at the park include EFG Matthews Furniture, infrastructure firm MWH UK and Wates Retail.
