Guinness Northern on site in Higginshaw

Oldham-based association housing association Guinness Northern Counties is adding five homes to its existing Higginshaw Village estate in the borough.

The development received £305,000 from the Homes & Communities Agency to create three three-bedroom and two four-bedroom homes for rent, which will be available to local people on the council's housing register.

Contractor, Mansell, was appointed to build the homes. Completion is due in October. The properties were designed by Stockport-based architects TADW.
