Grosvenor sells resi plot

Grosvenor Developments has sold a student residential site with planning consent for 305 units on the edge of Liverpool One to X1 Developments.

The plot is between Seel Street and Fleet Street, and to the rear of the new Premier Inn on Hanover Street.

A previous deal to sell the site to developer local developer Portside House, which obtained planning permission in 2012 for the nine-storey blocks, fell through late last year.

X1 Developments is due to begin work on site in April.
