Grosvenor lines up NHS deal

Grosvenor Developments is in advanced discussions with Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust to let 13,000 sq ft off Hanover Street for a primary care centre.

Planning consent is expected to be granted this month to change the use of the ground-floor units on Seel Street beneath the new Premier Inn at the edge of Liverpool ONE.

Subject to planning, Liverpool Community Health is due to agree a 10-year lease with Grosvenor at an undisclosed rent.

The deal would take the development on the corner of Hanover Street and Seel Street to fully let, following the deals with Chinese restaurant operator Tai Pan in October 2012 for a 22,000 sq ft restaurant, currently on site, and the hotel which opened late last year.

David Legat at DTZ advised Grosvenor. GVA will handle the fit-out for Liverpool Community Health.

All parties declined to comment at this stage.
