Greensill leases space at Daresbury Park

Global finance company Greensill Capital has taken 27,000 sq ft of office space at Daresbury 2100 on a 10-year lease.

The building has undergone a £1.6m refurbishment, carried out by Hollis Global and completed in October 2019.

The move signals Greensill’s continued expansion, in addition to the space they already occupy in the Cinnabar Court development at Daresbury Park.

London-headquartered Greensill also has offices in New York, Sydney and Singapore.

The building is situated on Daresbury Park, the 225-acre business park off junction 11 of the M56 in Warrington.

Current occupiers at the park include Ombudsman Services, Knowles Solicitors and Appsense, PM PROjEN & ABB. The on-site Daresbury Park Hotel also provides leisure facilities and a conference venue.

Neil Kirkham, director at CBRE Liverpool, said: “We are delighted to secure the region’s largest out-of-town letting this year to an expanding global operator at Daresbury Park.”

The rental yield was not disclosed.

Daresbury is in the heart of Liverpool City Region, within the combined authority area at Runcorn.
The expansion of both finance and tech here is welcome news.

By Liverpolitan

you might find its on the very very outer outer edge and by the way runcorn people consider them selves as cheshire people

We are not part of Liverpool and we never will be.
Get over it.

We are Cheshire. We are not even in Merseyside and have no desire to be.

Weird tribalism on here from grown adults. Grow up. Great news for LCR.

By L17

Daresbury has been part of the Liverpool Combined Authority since 2014, therefore any opinion that states otherwise is invalid.

Great news for the LCR. Good that Daresbury park has received support from the LCR combined authority. Onwards and upwards.

By ST

Daresbury is part of Cheshire West and the Liverpool Combined Authority is a farce which has been regurgitated to help Liverpool think it is competing with other cities.

It’s like claiming Knutsford is part of Greater Manchester. Focus on your own cities.

By Skip

Daresbury is in Halton/Cheshire.

Don’t let Liverpool ruin Cheshire towns like it has done to us in Lancashire.

By Wot

The only ones who see daresbury as within a combined Liverpool authority are from Liverpool, not Halton.
It would be seen totally differently if it was announced that Liverpool is to become an extension of Greater Manchester or lancashire. Hands off Halton.

In 2014 Halton council joined the LCRCA club against the will of its constituents.

There is no such thing as Liverpool City Region. It’s an entirely artificial construct to try to make the city look bigger than it really is. The business, commuting and economic links within the boundaries of this construct are weak and if anything are more strongly connected to Manchester than Liverpool.

By Awayo

This is welcome news for Halton and Cheshire West.
