Graduate appointments at Buttress

The architecture practice has hired three recent graduates, with a heritage consultant and two architectural assistants joining its Manchester office.

Jenna Johnston has a masters in heritage and regeneration from the University of Central Lancashire, and joined Buttress' historic buildings team to offer informed conservation advice and insight on design projects.

Soreen Billbas has been appointed architectural assistant following his graduation from Huddersfield University, and will work towards his professional exams at Buttress.

Laura Barnes is a graduate from Nottingham University, and is an architectural assistant with an interest in conservation.

Gavin Sorby, managing director of Buttress, said: "The last year has been one full of changes; a new name, new office and now it's great to see new faces joining us too. We have some great projects in the office at the moment and are actively recruiting for talented people to join our teams."
