Glenbrook on target for 2019 completion at Erie Basin

Glenbrook and contractor Graham have topped out at a £50m build-to-rent scheme at Salford Quays with the project on track to hand over next summer.

The 220,000 sq ft development features 270 one, two, and three-bed apartments over two blocks and reaches 16 storeys on the last developable plot in the area. Other amenities include undercroft car parking, a tenant lounge, and a gym.

It has been forward funded by Moorfield – which has also backed two other Glenbrook projects in the North West – and is designed by architect Sheppard Robson. Glenbrook acquired the site from Peel in 2016.

Graham is also on site at Ellesmere Street with the developer, building 232 apartments designed by architect AEW.

The contractor has also last month started work on another project for Glenbrook in Castlefield, a 280-home development of two 15 and 14 storey blocks, just off Trentham Street, and also designed by Sheppard Robson.
