Get involved with Mission Christmas

Liverpool City Central and Commercial District Business Improvement Districts are urging companies to support 'Bring your Gift to Work Day' tomorrow.

The Mission Christmas: Cash for Kids team will be at Exchange Flags between 12pm and 2pm to collect gifts for local children living in poverty.

Already organisations including Downing, Morecrofts LLP, Canter Levin & Berg Solicitors, Blankstone Opticians and Liverpool Vision have pledged donations.

Ged Gibbons, chief executive of City Central and Commercial District BIDs, said: "This is a really important initiative that will make a difference to children in poverty across our region. But we still need more gifts, so are continuing to urge businesses to get involved and support Mission Christmas by coming down to Exchange Flags on Thursday."

Mission Christmas is looking for gifts that would be suitable for children and young people aged 0 to 18 years.

Businesses can donate new and unwrapped presents at the event in Liverpool city centre.
