Gerald Eve appoints partner from JLL

The national surveyor has appointed David Law as partner in its Manchester office to lead and build the valuation team in the North West.

Law was previously director in the valuation advisory team at JLL, prior to which he was head of North West valuation at King Sturge.

He has considerable experience in providing advice on a wide range of properties for debenture, loan security, debt restructuring, acquisition, financial statements and development purposes.

This is the second senior appointment by Gerald Eve in Manchester after the appointment of Mark Walsh from Cushman & Wakefield to lead the office in June 2014.

Mark Walsh, partner and head of Gerald Eve's Manchester office, said: "The appointment of someone of David's calibre adds yet more strength in depth to our team here. As the market sees more disposals and acquisitions, debt restructuring and lending activity, his skills and experience will be a vital resource to our clients."

Gerald Eve has a team of 20 in Manchester, which forms part of a regional network alongside offices in Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and Milton Keynes.
