GE off-loads retail assets to private investors

GE Real Estate has sold two North West retail investments to private investors in deals totalling £17m, at yields below 5%.

A 15,499 sq ft building in Chester occupied by Oasis and Vision Express sold for £8m.

In the second deal, a parade of 13 shops with offices above sold for £8.9m in Wilmslow. Tenants include Argos and Jaegar.

GE was represented by NB Real Estates on both sales, jointly with Christopher Dee & Co in Wilmslow. Briant Champion Long represented the buyer in Chester.
