Gas holder removal to unlock 215,000 sq ft site

Langtree has secured outline planning consent from Oldham Council for a 215,000 sq ft employment and commercial site at Hollinwood.

The scheme involves the removal of a redundant gas holder at Hollinwood Point on Hollinwood Junction, Oldham.

Consent relates to a mix of employment uses, with some supporting amenity uses such as hotel, pub and nursery.

Subject to funding, Langtree says infrastructure works could begin next year.
