Gaming firm takes Trafford Park space

Agent Williams Sillitoe has secured a five-year lease on a 16,300 sq ft building in Kestrel Road Trafford Park for Steamforged Games.

Steamforged is to relocate from its current Stockport base to take up the two-storey office, which also includes warehousing and has undergone a £300,000 refurbishment and fit-out.

The company’s head Jay Finnegan said: “The growth of the business since we launched three years ago has been remarkable which is why our property requirements have changed so drastically.

“The new office will be four times the size of our current building and will provide us with the perfect opportunity to create a unique space which works for us operationally and showcases our business in a prime industrial hotspot.”

Mark Sillitoe added: “Steamforged had very specific requirements which made our job quite tricky but the unit at Kestrel Road ticked so many boxes for them.

“The quality of the refurbishment and fit-out has been second to none and the new premises will help to take their business to the next level.”

Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of landlord Craigard. The deal was agreed at £5.75 per sq ft.
