Galliford Try Partnerships has hired Renea Cammish from Together Housing as development manager in the North West as it looks to ramp up activity across the region.
Cammish was a new business project manager at Together for around five years and has previously worked for Southway Housing Trust.
She started her role with Galliford Try Partnerships this month and will be based out of its Warrington office, helping to source new opportunities for the business as well as managing its joint venture project across the North West.
Projects the company has on site include a £20m housing-led project on Edge Lane, Liverpool, for Liverpool Mutual Homes; and a £14m scheme on Princess Road in Manchester.
It is also working with Trafford Housing Trust on a £100m plan to build around 600 homes at a former gas storage site in Partington.
Galliford Try Partnerships regional managing director Brendan Blythe said: “We are delighted that Renea has joined our growing team at a time of significant growth for GTPNW.
“We are standing on the brink of a huge opportunity for housing and development in the UK, the like of which has not been seen for decades, and GTP is perfectly poised to develop the partnerships, joint ventures and deliver the schemes that will turn this opportunity into reality for people in the North West. Renea’s appointment marks the commitment to our continued growth and to delivering more innovative and partnership developments in the immediate and long-term future.”
