Pozzoni Architecture was appointed to design the refurbishment in 2017 and contractor ADT Workplace subsequently undertook the fit-out of the four-storey building, which involved converting a large portion of the ground floor entrance into a double-height entrance, allowing the steep steps up from street level to be removed.
The rest of the building was modernised with a focus on sustainability and health and wellbeing.
There are five offices in total. The first floor is split into two, providing 5,400 sq ft and 3,200 sq ft suites.
The second and third floors provide 9,500 sq ft and 9,400 sq ft offices respectively. The fourth floor houses a 2,000 sq ft space. The building currently has no occupiers.
Williams Sillitoe and Canning O’Neill are the agents for 3 Barrington Road.
Jamie Wood, director at Pozzoni, said: “Our vision for 3 Barrington Road was twofold: to improve the street presence of the building and enhance the experience for its users.
“Our priority was to make the building fully accessible for occupants and visitors, to promote better health and wellbeing. We were also keen to create an open-plan working environment across all floors that is light, airy, flexible and offers a different office environment for Altrincham.”
