FT Finley wins Parkway Green contract

Stockport-based building, refurbishment, and maintenance company, FT Finley, has been awarded a £400,000 contract to carry out void property maintenance works for Parkway Green Housing Trust in South Manchester.

The two-year contract, which has an option to extend for a further year, is for approximately 40 properties a year and involves the installation of new kitchens, bathrooms and heating, plus re-wiring work.

The improvements will ensure that every property offered to new tenants by Parkway Green has modern facilities that are efficient, warm and weatherproof.

Ian Gregg, director of communities and investment at Parkway Green, said: "This partnership feeds into Parkway Green's vision to deliver quality homes and neighbourhoods of choice and we will continue to work closely with the team to develop the services we offer customers and ensure all our properties are up to the highest standards."

Steve Coe, assistant director at FT Finley, said: "We have worked with Parkway Green for many years, so have a good understanding of their requirements and housing stock."

Parkway Green Housing Trust is a Manchester-based community landlord aiming to improve homes and help regenerate West Wythenshawe.
