Frost launches new planning consultancy

Former national director at Jones Lang LaSalle, Andy Frost, has launched his own consultancy.

Frost Planning, based in Prestbury, Cheshire, will specialise in securing consents for landowners, developers, private companies and individuals across the UK.

Frost, a former director of planning in JLL's Manchester office, was made redundant late last year following a shake-up at the business.

He said he plans to win business by offering clients flexible fee rates.

"Market conditions are really tough. We offer what clients want but don't always get from larger consultancies – flexible fee arrangements, director-level service, incisive thinking and decisive advice," he said.

He added: "I use all of my experience to provide clients with bespoke and commercially-driven solutions. I do not sit on the fence. I say what
I think and get to the point quickly – something that developers value."

"Over the past few years I've craved to set up my own business. Despite the tough market conditions it feels like the perfect time for me to do this."

His clients include AstraZeneca plc, Istithmar P&O Estates, Crown UK plc, Anchor, and LaSalle Investment Management.
