Free workshops announced at Northern Regeneration Summit

A series of free to attend workshops for property professionals will run alongside the main events of the Northern Regeneration Summit and Exhibition, being held at Manchester Central over two days in late October.

Amongst those giving talks at the forums include Argent's Gary Taylor, currently involved in the development of Manchester's Piccadilly Place, Professor Michael Parkinson, director of the European Institute of Urban Affairs at Liverpool John Moores University, Sir Howard Bernstein, chief executive, Manchester City Council, and Paul Lakin, head of development, North West Development Agency.

The forums will cover issues such as how to lever funding and working with housing associations in a downturn.

Workshops will also be hosted by Rochdale Development Agency and British Land Reclamation amongst others, looking at how to deliver brownfield skills, and maintaining momentum in a difficult market.

The event is scheduled for 22 and 23 October. Visit www.northernregeneration.com to register.
