Four Two Four plans Deva expansion onto Staples site

Irish developer Four Two Four, a subsidiary of Benmore, has acquired the former Staples building on Trinity Way in Salford to expand its Deva Centre.

Four Two Four paid £5m to buy the 28,000 sq ft building from Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund, from whom it also acquired the Deva Centre, a multi-tenanted office building, next door for more than £13.25m in October.

Gary Scorah, partner at WHR Property Consultancy, advising Four Two Four, said: "There was a lot of interest in this building and we were fortunate to secure the purchase. The synergy between this site and the Deva Centre meant that this was a logical extension of the Four Two Four's existing holdings and provides the opportunity to enhance and expand the Deva Centre's current offering."

GVA Grimley advised GMPVF.
