Four named on GM solar list

Oldham Council, on behalf of AGMA, has appointed four suppliers to a Greater Manchester solar panel installation framework for the next three years.
The companies chosen to work with the 10 boroughs in the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities were:
- Campbell & Kennedy
- Renewables 4 Business
- Styles & Wood
- Green Electrician
The winners were picked from 23 bids in total. The budget has estimated ceiling of £20m but is not expected to reach that high.
The framework will initially be used to install roof mounted solar panels on Oldham Council buildings. The work will include survey, design, supply, installation and connection of solar PV up to 150 kWp.
