Four move to Manchester Industrial Estate

WHR Property Consultants has secured four new occupiers at Manchester Industrial Estate on behalf of Consolidated Properties.

The new deals total 52,972 sq ft. Quoting rent at the site is £3.50/sq ft.

Stone wholesaler Premier Stone has taken 15,704 sq ft, joinery firm Howdens has moved into a 15,000 sq ft unit and the Bavarian Beer Wine & Food Company took an 8,668 sq ft unit.

All three businesses agreed five-year leases.

The Alcohol Free Shop will occupy a 13,600 sq ft unit having signed a three-year lease.

The recently refurbished terrace units, which are prominently situated on Oldham Road, have been vacant for the last 12 months.

John Barton, surveyor at WHR, sole letting agent for the estate, said: "The roadside location of these units together with their easy access to the main arterial routes of Manchester means that they immediately appealed to potential occupiers and we were able to secure new lettings quickly."

Only an 8,000 sq ft unit remains empty at Manchester Industrial Estate.
