ForViva picks consultants for £290m framework

Eccles-based housing group ForViva has named the successful bidders for its building services framework, which could be worth up £290m in supporting the delivery of 1,200 homes in the region.

ForViva currently owns and manages 24,000 homes in the North West and is currently delivering a development plan, worth £180m, which will provide over 1,000 new homes.

The framework is split across four lots, covering project management; architecture; structural engineering services; and ground investigation services.

Lot 1 – Project management, monitoring surveyor, employers agent and quantity surveying

The framework is expected to last for four years.

The project management and architect lots are the largest at £80m; while the structural engineering lot is worth £70m and the ground investigation lot is worth £60m.

The group includes housing associations City West Housing Trust and Villages Housing Association, as well as construction firm Liberty Group, and ForLiving, which provides homes for market rent, private sale, and shared ownership.

ForViva also manages 5,500 homes in Ellesmere Port and Neston for Cheshire West & Chester Council, under its ForHousing brand.
