Former Whiston quarry site up for sale

A residential development site in Whiston, Knowsley, is being sold on behalf of Balfour Beatty Group by Matthews & Goodman.

The former quarry site has planning permission for 43 homes comprising a mix of three and four bed detached and semi-detached houses, four town houses and six apartments.

Detailed ground investigations have been undertaken at the one hectare site by Mouchel.

The site is close to the new Whiston Hospital and near the Cables Retail Park.

It is two miles from junction two of the M57 and junction seven of the M62.

Matthews & Goodman's David Colvin said: "The housing market in Whiston and Prescot has always been resilient due to the quality of the environment, excellent motorway access, the close proximity of local services, shops and leisure opportunities."
