Ford Credit has moved into Ask Development's Number One First Street office in Manchester, occupying 25,000 sq ft with an option on a further 35,000 sq ft.
Ford Credit provides financial products and services to Ford dealers throughout the UK. It is understood that Ford agreed a deal with Ask on 60,000 sq ft in the block earlier this year, and will occupy in phases.
Other tenants in the 180,000 sq ft Number One First Street include Auto Trader, Jacobs and Amaze.
The quoting rent at Number One First Street is £23.50/sq ft.
The £500m First Street scheme is being delivered by Ask in partnership with Manchester City Council.
Matt Hinton, manager of the Manchester base, said: "We selected Manchester after a detailed appraisal of sites across the UK because of its great infrastructure and the outstanding pool of multi-lingual residents.
"Our offices have a great location in the First Street development, and we are proud to become part of the Manchester community. Our recruitment plans are on track and I'm impressed by the high calibre of the team who have elected to come to work for Ford Credit."
CBRE and Savills are letting agents at First Street. Cushman & Wakefield advised Ford Credit.
