Forbes expands housing team

The Preston-based solicitors has made two new appointments and a promotion within the housing litigation department.

Lachlan McLean has been promoted to partner after nine years with the firm. He specialises in emergency antisocial behaviour injunctions, breach of injunction hearings, and claims for possession.

Sarah Rogers joined the team from Whiteheads as associate solicitor, while Justine Hunkins joined from Chadwick Lawrence as solicitor.

Stuart Penswick, head of housing and regeneration at Forbes, said: "Welcome to Sarah and Justine and congratulations to Lachlan, his promotion is well deserved. The appointments of Sarah and Justine were made as a direct result of client demand."

Forbes' housing and regeneration department acts for 90 housing associations and arms-length management organisations across the country.

The firm has 37 partners and more than 350 staff across offices in Blackburn, Accrington, Preston, Chorley, Leeds and Manchester.
