Forbes adds to housing law team

Manchester-based Forbes Solicitors has expanded its housing team with the appointment of solicitor Amy Stirton.

Stirton has joined the housing litigation team from Watson Ramsbotton and will work predominantly on behalf of social housing clients on matters including anti-social behaviour injunctions, gas injunctions, possession proceedings and committal proceedings. She will be based in the Preston office.

Stuart Penswick, head of housing at Forbes Solicitors, said: "I am pleased to welcome Amy to the team. The housing team at Forbes is going from strength to strength and Amy will add to the high quality and cost effective service we offer to clients."

Forbes' housing department now acts for over 90 housing associations across the country and is recognised in both Chambers and Legal 500 as a leader in the housing field.

The firm has 35 partners and more than 350 staff across offices in Blackburn, Accrington, Preston, Chorley, Leeds and Manchester.
