Footasylum signs in Bolton

Orbit Developments has signed Footasylum to a 3,980 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease in Middlebrook Retail & Leisure Park.

The retailer plans to start trading at the beginning of September. Matthew Cox, spokesman for Footasylum, said: "Over the last six years, Footasylum have climbed from strength to strength, constantly developing our shop fits and retail environments to enhance the customer experience. The new store, which intends to be fully trading by the start of September, will not only introduce a host of new brands to the current mix available in the immediate area, but will also create 30 new jobs."

Mark Hanna, senior retail leasing surveyor of Orbit Developments, said: "We've been working hard to strengthen our line-up and we are delighted to be welcoming a leading fashion retailer like Footasylum to Middlebrook. The retail park has seen considerable growth this year with footfall steadily increasing. I am confident that Footasylum will attract new shoppers to the scheme."
