Business campus concept Avenue HQ is set to launch at Liverpool’s waterfront this spring, after agreeing to lease 16,000 sq ft within the Mann Island complex.
Avenue HQ’s site in the Latitude Building will include flexible workspace and private offices, along with meeting rooms, event spaces and an exhibition space.
The offices will be available to companies of any sector or size from across the city. Aztec Interiors has been appointed to complete the fit-out, working alongside architect Day Architecture.
Matthew Kennedy, co-founder of Avenue HQ, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be delivering our campus concept at Mann Island. The space lends itself perfectly to what we want to achieve, and we believe this will be an inspiring place for business.
“We have developed our membership structure to provide ultimate flexibility, allowing businesses to use the space as they require, whether that be a private office for a team, a flexible workstation, or a venue for an event.”
The venture has been co-founded with Karl Connolly, formerly of Cheshire West & Chester Council, Mace and Gleeds. Connolly is director of community at Avenue HQ, so will liaise with businesses using the space, and negotiate introductions between relevant companies.
The site has been taken on a 15-year lease from RBH Properties, which owns the commercial units within Mann Island, after purchasing them from Mann Island developer Neptune.
Avenue HQ is targeting a May opening, with membership starting from £20 a month.
