Fletcher-Rae promotes two
The Manchester-based architect firm has promoted Matthew Quinton and Richard Thompson to associates.
Quinton and Thompson were previously project architects and are being promoted during the month Fletcher-Rae Architects celebrates its first anniversary since Bob Fletcher and Andrew Rae merged their firms, Fletcher Architects and Rae Design respectively, in August last year.
Prior to the merge of the two practices, Quinton and Thompson were based at Bob Flectcher's firm.
Andrew Rae, managing director, told Place: "Matthew and Richard have worked hard during the first year of the merger and shown real commitment to the business moving forward. We see them developing much further over the coming years and their promotions are well deserved."
Quinton has worked on behalf of Manchester Metropolitan University, delivering an exercise and sport science building at its Crewe campus.
Thompson is currently working on a number of specialised energy from waste projects across the UK for clients including Peel Environmental.
He has recently delivered two office refurbishment and extension projects for BASF at Swinton and Ener-G at Salford.
Fletcher-Rae is based in Jordan Street in Castlefield.
