First tenant secured at Astmoor Industrial Estate
The first letting has been agreed at the 2.3m sq ft industrial estate in Runcorn, Cheshire.
Concrete repair firm Tarmac has taken Units 19 and 20, located off Brindley Road, totalling 6,498 sq ft, for five years at a rent of £3.50/sq ft.
Richard Murphy and Bryn Williams, from DTZ, were appointed as LPA receivers to let the units on behalf of an unnamed landlord.
Alex Smylie, senior surveyor in DTZ's industrial team in Manchester, said: "The estate now offers refurbished units combined with very competitive terms and we expect to announce further occupiers imminently."
Industrial units are available to rent at the estate from 3,000 sq ft up to 25,000 sq ft on flexible terms. Letting agents are offering deals including rents from £1/sq ft to those that sign up before 1 September 2011.
The joint agents for Astmoor Industrial Estate are DTZ, BE Group and Roy Backhouse & Co.
