First deal at revamped 86 Princess Street
Digital marketing agency Big Brand Ideas has agreed a 10-year lease on 5,200 sq ft at the grade two-listed office building in Manchester.
Big Brand Ideas is the first occupier to be announced at the 26,000 sq ft site, with more set to be announced by the end of April.
MC Construction is currently on site at 86 Princess Street to redevelop the former textile warehouse, which is set to complete over the next few weeks.
The redevelopment includes a converted loading bay reception, along with a coffee shop, break out space, communal roof terrace, and studio space.
The building was acquired by a private investor in 2016.
Matt Pickersgill, senior surveyor in the office advisory team at LSH, said: “Big Brand Ideas will provide an excellent fit for 86 Princess Street. It has been remarkable to see the transformation over the last two years and it’s no surprise we are now seeing strong levels of interest from a variety of creative businesses. It’s exciting to see a community of forward-thinking businesses starting to take shape in what is a stunningly restored building.”
LSH is the leasing agent for the building along with providing project management on the refurbishment. Atelier is the heritage architect and Sheila Bird group is the designer.
