Firem bags pair of Wrexham lettings
Investor and asset manager FI Real Estate Management has secured two lettings totalling 25,000 sq ft at Wrexham Industrial Estate in North Wales.
Courier AJCS Logistics has signed to occupy a 10,000 sq ft unit on Clywedog Road in response to an uptick in demand for its services throughout the pandemic, which has prompted a move from its current base in Chester.
Stomlet, meanwhile, which sells home and garden products, will take a 15,000 sq ft unit at the industrial estate.
Firem was represented by the lettings agent Lambert Smith Hampton for both deals.
The lettings leave two units available to let at Wrexham Industrial Estate, including a 10,000 sq. ft warehouse that is currently under refurbishment.
A spokesperson for Firem said: “We’re seeing a sustained and growing demand for quality industrial space right across the country, but no more so than in the North West and North Wales.
“To ensure we’re meeting this need, Firem is continuing to heavily invest in our spaces right across the region as we support the industrial sector through this period of change.”
Wrexham Industrial Estate is home to more than 340 businesses across the automotive, aerospace, food, pharmaceuticals and engineering sectors.
In August 2019, Firem was granted consent to build a 100,000 sq ft on an industrial site off Clywedog Road South, expanding the estate.
The site covers in excess of 1,300 acres and is home to other occupiers including cereal manufacturer Kellogg’s and construction firm JCB.
