Fibrestar signs for 109,000 sq ft in Stockport
Fibrestar Drums has signed a 10-year lease on a 109,000 sq ft unit at Towngate's Newby Road Industrial Estate in Hazel Grove, Stockport.
WHR Property Consultants acted for Towngate in securing the tenant, a manufacturer of standard and customised round and square fibre drums.
The quoting rental value of the property is £3/sq ft.
Gary Chapman, associate partner at WHR, said: "This is a great letting for our client who by being proactive in targeting the occupier and taking brave decisions in respect of refurbishing the building, has secured a fantastic new employer for the region.
"The supply of 100,000 sq ft plus industrial units is rapidly diminishing, and occupiers are starting to realise they can no longer afford to wait if they are considering a move within the short/medium term."
