Fever Media takes space at MediaCityUK
Production company Fever Media, which specialises in factual TV and quiz shows, has opened an office at MediaCityUK.
Fever was established in London in April 2006 by Strictly Come Dancing executive producer Richard Hopkins and BAFTA and EMMY award-winning producer David Mortimer – the man behind Dragons' Den and many of Louis Theroux's documentaries.
Fever, which has taken space at the Greenhouse, said it had a small team working on a "relationship" show for BBC Three.
Juliet Lomas, head of production, said: "We are delighted to have opened a new base for our BBC Three production at The Greenhouse and to be part of the exciting new development at MediaCityUK."
Stephen Wild, managing director at MediaCityUK, said: "Fever Media is a highly reputable TV company and we are thrilled that they are joining us here at such an exciting time. We look forward to seeing their new work and hope they benefit from working so closely with like-minded businesses."
Fever Media's credits include Bums, Boobs and Botox for Channel 4; Sky1's Bang Goes The House; Bill Bailey's Birdwatching Bonanza, also for Sky1; and BBC Three's Move Like Michael Jackson.
