February completion set for Ropemaker Place
With the steel construction frame complete, Liverpool’s Legacie Developments said that it will open its 74-apartment scheme at Renshaw Street early next year.
The business said that since the announcement of the scheme, Legacie and sales partner Ascot Property Investments have received “an abundance of enquiries”.
Legacie Developments, established in 2010, has sebrtal live projects in the city, including the conversion of Reliance House in Water Street into apartments, along with a scheme in Dale Street. The first phase of work at Reliance House, which will comprise 139 apartments, was completed in March.
With planning secured earlier this year, Legacie announced in April that work would start imminently on site at the 127-apartment Azure Residence, a £20m scheme at Rose Place in North Liverpool. Falconer Chester Hall is the architect.
Main contractor Impel started work on Ropemaker Place in November last year.
A Legacie spokesman said: “Ropemaker Place will be a striking residential development and we’re pleased to have completed this first milestone. We’ll continue to make progress on the site until its completion in February 2019.
“It’s a very exciting time for Renshaw Street which has been undergoing various changes over the last few years and Legacie is very excited to be part of that.”
