F&C continues strong run of industrial deals
F&C REIT Asset Management has let a unit at Connect 6/61, an industrial estate in Blackrod, near Bolton, to timber firm Dresser Moulddings.
The company took a 14,258 sq ft unit on a five-year lease at a rent of £57,000 a year.
The Blackrod estate is now fully occupied after earlier lettings to Trucks To Go and Bolton Scaffold.
The deal follows a flurry of lettings by F&C in recent months. Last autumn it secured the Royal Mail at the 180,000 sq ft South 62 in Warrington for its new base when it leaves Copperas Hill in Liverpool. In Deeside Industrial Esate, North Wales, 50,836 sq ft was disposed of to recycling company Parry & Evans.
