Fashion agents sign with TCS

Town Centre Securities has let 75 Dale Street next to Carvers Warehouse in Piccadilly, Manchester to two fashion agencies, Q One Agency and Society Agencies.

Each new tenant has taken one floor of the 1,350 sq ft self-contained building on Dale Street in Piccadilly Basin, which was historically the headquarters of the Rochdale Canal Company.

Both agencies specialise in contemporary womenswear and represent a range of independent fashion labels from the UK and abroad including Numph, Finders Keepers, Second Female, Jovonna, Kelly Ewing and Mina.

Michele Quiligotti, director of Society Agencies, said: "It's important for us to be right at the heart of the fashion quarter so the location is perfect. It's great to be in this quirky building that has so much character and it helps us really stand-out from the crowd when our customers visit to view the collections. We've even themed the rooms differently to suit the style of the clothes. We already feel really at home in this environment and love it."

The Grade 2-listed building, dating back to 1808, still has a number of original features including mosaic, stone and wooden floors, staircase and fireplaces.

TCS completed the restoration of the 22,000 sq ft Carvers Warehouse next door in 2008. The office building is now home to Marketing Manchester, Stockley Broster O'Malley, Four23, Harris Partnership, BWB Consulting, G-Star Raw and North Star Piccadilly café on the ground floor.

Suzanne Gallagher, asset manager at Town Centre Securities, said: "We're really pleased to be able to provide this unique office accommodation to two talented entrepreneurs who are expanding their businesses. The 75 Dale Street office unit offers smaller companies such as Q One and Fashion Society the opportunity to be based just minutes from both Piccadilly Station and the Northern Quarter."

Denise Booth, director of Q One Agency added: "It's great to have the two agencies underneath one roof in such a central and convenient location for all our customers. As a distributor for Jovonna I also have the added benefit that customers can park up in the Dale street car park and pop in on a regular basis to buy and pick up stock."

Cushman & Wakefield is the letting agent.
