Family homes for former church site

Simon Donohue

An £800,000 development providing new family homes on the former site of a vacant church building in Walton, Liverpool, has been completed.

The Stuart Road site now accommodates six three-bedroom houses and one two-bedroom bungalow, as well as a new presbytery for the local vicar.

The money for the development was secured by Liverpool Housing Trust, part of Symphony Housing Group.

Mick King, managing director of MCI Developments, who carried out the construction on the project said: "We are delighted to have worked with LHT to complete this scheme.

"The homes on Stuart Road have been built to the highest standards which will really benefit the tenants."
