Fairhursts to relocate to King Street

Orbit Developments has signed architectural practice The Fairhursts Design Group to 55 King Street in Manchester city centre.

Fairhursts, which is relocating from its existing building on Faulkner Street, has taken 9,030 sq ft on the third floor on a ten year lease. Quoting rental levels at the building are £21/sq ft.

Ian Fitton, chairman of The Fairhurst Design Group, said: "Whilst it was a difficult decision for us to move from our existing building where we have been for the last 25 years, it was the right one and we are delighted with the high standard of accommodation at 55 King Street."

Fairhursts is due to move to its new premises this summer. Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of the architects in the deal.
