Everyman names Manchester opening date
The boutique independent cinema chain is to open its first Manchester city centre site at the ABC Buildings on 31 October.
This cinema will join its sister operation in Altrincham as the second site in the Greater Manchester region.
The 11,000 sq ft Quay Street cinema, which sits within Allied London’s Enterprise City, will offer three screens, a bar space and lounge, and a menu featuring Spielburgers, sundaes and cocktails.
The first screen has 151 seats, the second has 87, and the third has 26.
Patrick Conboy, venue manager at Everyman Manchester, said: “I am so thrilled to finally be welcoming the people of Manchester to Everyman. Our team can’t wait to show you all our unique brand of guest experience led cinema.”
Crispin Lilly, chief executive of Everyman Cinemas said: “With out neighbouring suburban venue in Altrincham being received so incredibly well since opening last year, we’re delighted to announce our new opening in the heart of the city of Manchester.”

Third in North West Region… Liverpool opened a while ago in the Met Quarter, and its helping fuse the Met Quarter with the Cavern Quarter and Victoria Street. A great addition to the city.
