Spurred on by the dramatic increase in demand for warehousing caused by the pandemic, the Leeds-based developer has submitted a planning application to Burnley Council for a 500,000 sq ft scheme on Accrington Road, next to Network 65 Business Park.
The latest proposed development, to be called Burnley Bridge South, would build on the £60m of investment already attracted to the area by the industrial park.
Eshton has for several years been developing the 60-acre Burnley Bridge industrial park and the 10-acre Titanium Park next to the M65. The developer announced plans for Burnley Bridge South in July 2017 but did not progress at that time.

Burnley Bridge Business Park is home to Exertis, Fagan & Whalley, Townsend Music, Birchall Foodservice and YESSS Electrical.
