Errigal Developments completes letting in Penrith

Investment firm Brewin Dolphin has moved its Cumbrian office from Keswick to larger premises in Penrith.

The new office is in Junction 40 Business Park and is owned by Errigal Developments.

Richard Wharton, director at Jones Lang LaSalle's Manchester office, who advised Brewin Dolphin on the deal, said: "The new office is just over 2,000 sq ft. They took an assignment of an existing 15 year lease with break options. Rent is confidential."

Since setting up a Cumbrian office in 2006 with a team of just three staff, Brewin Dolphin now has 11 members of staff working there with £200m under management.

Peter Martin, head of the Cumbrian office, added: "We spent a long time searching for the right premises and we are delighted with the new space in Penrith. We hope clients will enjoy the more conveniently located premises, which provide a perfect meeting environment for clients and contacts."

Confidential rent, presumably agents are concerned over releasing this key information for fear of impacting the market? Seriously worried for the market if deals such as this are making headlines………..
