Envirolink launches new service

The not-for-profit company is launching its new paid membership model aimed at those companies working within the low carbon and environmental sector in May.

Envirolink is moving to a paid membership model after it was announced last July that the North West Development Agency, due to close next year, had to save £52m within its budget.

Envirolink is offering the following two membership packages:

  • Standard membership – £750 plus VAT
  • Discounted rate for small businesses – £500 plus VAT. Envirolink is offering a discounted rate to businesses and organisations with a turnover less than £1m or less than 10 employees

To promote the membership service, Envirolink is inviting businesses involved in the low carbon and environmental sector to a launch event at 4pm on Wednesday 4 May at its office in Birchwood, Warrington.

The event will provide an opportunity to meet the Envirolink team, network with potential buyers and low carbon and environmental technology providers and to find out how Envirolink can help businesses to grow. Demonstrations of the online membership services will also be available.

Nick Storer, chief executive of Envirolink said: "We are pleased to launch our new membership scheme and complementary services for the low carbon and environmental sector. With our knowledge of low carbon and environmental technologies, the companies involved in the sector and their customers, Envirolink is ideally placed to provide business support which in turn delivers economic growth and low carbon environmental benefits. We look forward to working with businesses to ensure the continuing success of the low carbon and environmental sector and enjoy the fantastic growth that has been predicted for the future."
